Happy New Year folks! Hope your year started on a great note. This is my first Christmas in Toronto. It turned out to be a green Christmas, disappointing many Torontonians who were hoping for a white Christmas 🙂 But hey, that didn’t stop anyone from decorating the trees and celebrating the festive season. Take a look at some of the Best Christmas displays in Toronto. I have saved the best for the last.
Let’s begin closer home. This is how the Christmas tree and lawn were decorated in our apartment building.
Nathan Phillips Square
Cavalcade of Lights marks the official start of the holiday season by lighting of the Christmas tree and Fireworks at Nathan Phillips Square. Thousands gathered to witness this event.
Toronto Christmas Market
Toronto Christmas market at the Distillery District is one of the Top 10 Holiday Markets in the World. It had shopping, entertainment, food, beer, snowmen and of course Santa Claus.
These are the decorations at some of the malls:
Hudson’s Bay had some real cute window displays.
Santa’s helpers packing gifts for the long list of children
Okay, this one’s not in Toronto. It’s in Vaughn (Ontario), I just included it.
Somewhere near Christie station.
Now let’s look at how the Financial District fared:
These had to be the best ones. They look like diamond-studded trees and made for some real beautiful photographs.
I couldn’t get enough of these! So here’s one more pic.
Hope you liked the pictures. Do let me know where you have witnessed the best Christmas displays/decorations.
